The hiring of lobbyists in the United States over various Bangladesh issues often stirs the country's political arena. While the Awami League has been in power, top leaders frequently accused the BNP and Jamaat of hiring lobbyists to extend U.S. influence in Bangladesh's politics.
Now, they have taken the same route. "Wazed Incorporation" has hired a lobbyist in the U.S. Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of the former Prime Minister, has enlisted a lobbying firm named Strike Global Diplomacy (SGD).
